A promotional video for the Broadcast & Cinematic Arts department at Central Michigan University. This project was a part of my course work for "Industrial & Educational Media". The video convinces potential future students that the BCA department has more than broadcasting specialties.
This project took place on the west side of Michigan for a two day shoot. The goal was to create one promotional video for the company's website and collect as much media as possible for future edits. I used a combination of tripod, gimbal shots, drone shots, and time-lapses using two cameras and a drone.
I did not create the motion graphics for this project.
This video covers an event held to showcase the latest machining technology in the industry. For this project, I collaborated with the company to produce a script, hired a voiceover actor, and collected footage on the day of the event.
As my first documentary, this was a revolutionary project for me. I produced this doc from the ground up. From reaching out to the ranch, to multiple shoot days/ interviews, to the final delivery.
Hopewell is a non-profit therapy ranch that helps the troubled youth, mental illness, and veterans.
Example corporate video showcasing the Hawk fiber laser. This video utilized shots from a tripod, handheld with an electronic stabilizer, and interior rock solid drone shots. A professional voice over actor was hired to announce the copy.
A captivating performance covered in 16 takes between 2 cameras. For this project I utilized the multi-cam sequence to ensure no moment was missed and all performances were synced.
